4 Ghanaian coaches arrive in Black Stars tenting base in Abu Dhabi forward of 2022 World Cup


Four local coaches invited by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to be part of the Ghanaian contingent for the 2022 FIFA World Cup have all arrived at the team’s current camping base in Abu Dhabi.

The list includes Prosper Narteh Ogum, who won the league with Kotoko last season, Dreams FC’s Ignatius Osei-Fosu, Ibrahim Tanko and former Hearts of Oak gaffer Samuel Boadu.

They are mainly there to learn more about new coaching techniques and will also be with the team in Qatar for the Mundialan initiative funded by the GFA and the Ministry of Sport.

The Black Stars are currently in the United Arab Emirates trying to prepare and be ready for the World Cup and will face Switzerland in their final friendly tomorrow.

Ghana is in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea. The competition begins on Sunday 20 November 2022.
