Airplane Artwork – Air India Boeing 777-300ER climbing out of Chicago O’Hare

It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.

This week we have one AirIndia Boeing 777-300ER climb out Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it begins the long journey back to its home base in Delhi, India.

Air India operates a fleet of 13 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its long-haul fleet. The airline operates the smaller Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in long-haul operations.

This plane – VT-ALX – is also known as “Sikkim”. The aircraft joined Air India’s fleet in March 2018. Since then it has remained the fleet. The aircraft has recently flown to Chicago, New York and San Francisco from its base in Delhi, connecting India with the United States of America.

More aircraft art next week!
