Right here, a mom, Diane (@still_zealously.mom), decided to upload a video of herself sharing a camping hack with fellow enthusiasts — and people have dubbed it a game changer.

At the start of the viral clip, which has been viewed more than 3.3 million times in just one day, Diane, who works as a nurse, was seen indulging in a river of marshmallows before turning her head to the side and in shock looked.

“I never knew that…” read the caption on the footage.

The video then showed a purple camp chair, followed by a close-up of one of his legs.

There you could see a small hole – and although many may not have noticed or recognized this yet, it has a very good use.

It turns out that the small hole is big enough to fit an umbrella, so now you can enjoy the nice weather with a glass of wine without getting burned in the sun.

To make sure it fits properly, put the umbrella through the opening between the armrest and the seat base.

When you slide it all the way down, insert the umbrella into the hole and adjust if necessary.

“WAATTTT [sic],” Diane captioned the clip, which has taken the platform by storm.

And it’s safe to say the mother wasn’t the only one who didn’t know this earlier – viewers were just as shocked.

”Are you serious[glasses emoji] why didn’t I know that sooner,” wondered one TikTok user.

“I’ve always wondered what that random hole was for,” one person was stunned.

Another parent commented, “One of my soccer moms taught me this, and it became a game changer (stop playing nice and sneaking under other easy heights).”

Someone else was convinced the holes served a different purpose: “I think they’re actually there so you can poke them in the ground, but that’s a great way to use them [sic].”
