BOCO WILD Celebrates Out of doors Recreation


Botetourt County Parks & Recreation and the Department of Wildlife Resources are partnering to present BOCO WILD, a celebration and exhibition for outdoor recreation in the great Botetourt area, on June 4, 2022 at Buchanan Town Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

BOCO WILD, formerly known as the Botetourt Fishing Carnival, will encompass a variety of outdoor interests – all are welcome to explore a wide range of activities including our historically popular community tradition of fishing lessons, as well as wildlife education, hunting safety, hiking, river activities, boating instruction and much more more.

The first 200 youth participants aged 15 and under to check in at the event will receive a FREE t-shirt and lunch!
