Republican candidate Nick Begich received another big endorsement Thursday: The Alaska Outdoor Council just voted unanimously to endorse him for convention.
The Alaska Outdoor Council, one of the most respected organizations dedicated to hunting and fishing, was ranked the most influential advocacy group in Alaska by the University of Alaska. It has thousands of members and raises millions of dollars to advocate for access to Alaska’s outdoor recreation opportunities.
Begich ran for office in late October and has amassed an impressive list of endorsements, including from several Republican districts and top Alaskans from across the state.
