DOWNOWN PANAMA CITY, Florida (WMBB) – A Panama City company has new management. C&G Sporting Goods Downtown has been in business since 1950 and with a new owner they hope to continue the tradition.
The decision of longtime owner Ronnie Grooms to retire means three new people will run the company.
One of the new business partners, Nate Taylor, says he’s always had a passion for gun safety and hunting and loves getting involved downtown. He wants C&G to continue to thrive.
“I am very excited. We have a legacy that we will keep and continue here at C&G. Our outfitters or staff are amazing people who have been here and dedicated to Mr. Groom, C&G and they want this legacy to continue. So there is nothing here but growth. “Said Taylor.
Taylor hopes the business will continue to be an integral part of the community.
