Jako Hall knows a thing or two about mountaineering some of the highest mountains in the world and wants to share his learnings with aspiring climbers.

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, Jan. 31, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — After climbing the world’s highest free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 meters above sea level, and other notable mountains, Captain Jako Hall aims to inspire fellow hikers and beginners equally to strive for new heights in all areas of life. He has shared some of the valuable life lessons he learned while climbing South Africa’s most challenging peaks.

Jako believes that taking part in challenging adventures has taught him some of life’s most important lessons. His love of nature and the urge to find his physical limits has led him to live a more peaceful and serene life.

Lesson 1. Wise Perseverance

Any accomplished mountaineer, like any marathon runner, will tell you that there will be times when your body will cry out for surrender. Success in endurance sports and adventures comes when you learn to understand the difference between temporary pain and discomfort and physical signs that you may be in real trouble.

There’s a fine line between never giving up and never giving up until it’s dangerous not to. Wise perseverance is the art of finding that limit.

Lesson 2. Courage

The determination and willingness to face agony, pain, danger, and uncertainty in order to reach a pinnacle is the very definition of courage. A mountaineer can acquire this valuable quality by climbing a mountain alone, but more importantly, he can apply it to every aspect of life.

It takes courage to succeed in life and to gain the necessary courage; You have to face the uncertainty first. Because mountaineering is a self-inflicted and somewhat controllable hazard, it is an excellent laboratory for preparing for life’s unforeseen and uncontrollable trials.

Lesson 3. The value of preparation

Without proper preparation, a climber is unlikely to be successful and may in fact expose themselves to real danger. Learning to take the time to prepare will serve you well throughout life.
