BECKER – Eleven golfers from the region completed their seasons and, for some, their careers at the last round of the Class A meeting at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker.

On the girls’ side, Dawson-Boyd’s Ella Mork fired a 91 in the second round for a two-day total of 183 (92-91), tied for 11th place. Her teammates, Rachael Lund and Elly Stratmoen, also showed improvements between Day 1 and Day 2. Lund shot an 88 in the second round for an overall score of 186 (98-88) over two days, finishing 18th, while Stratmoen one 101 had a total of 214 (113-101) in the last round for two days and finished 58th with the same number of points.

Lauren Bowyer from Minneota had in the second round 95 for two days a total of 186 (91-95) and finished 18th with tied points. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton’s Shae O’Leary had a 99 for a two-day grand total of 195 (96-99) in the final round, finishing in 37th place.

Boys

On the boys’ side, Canby’s Jake Wagner fired 78 in the second round for a two-day total of 158 (80-78), finishing in 19th place tied on points. Lakeview’s Carson Boe also had a two-shot improvement between rounds, shooting a 79 on day two for a total of 160 (81-79) and finishing in 22nd place.

Dawson-Boyd’s Collin Swedzinski scored an 88 in the second round for a two-day total of 167 (79-88) and finished 31st with equal points. Wabasso’s Will Carlson had a 93 for a two-day total of 176 (83-93) in the second round, finishing in 55th place.

RTR’s Chase Christensen had a 97 in the second round for an overall score of 186 (89-97) over two days and finished 66th with tied points. Murray County Central’s Dawson Tutt had a 93 in the second round for a total of 193 (100-93), finishing in 77th place.
