Clay Madsen Recreation Middle to reopen Monday, April 4th

CMRC will resume regular operating hours Monday, April 4th – As a reminder, operating hours are:

  • Monday – Thursday 5 a.m. – 10 p.m
  • Friday 5 a.m. – 9 p.m
  • Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
  • Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m

The following facilities are open:

  • Gymnastics Courts – Regular gymnastics schedules apply for open-play basketball, volleyball and pickleball
  • Pool – The regular pool schedule will be followed
  • Racquetball Courts – Members may call CMRC Saturday (2/4) and Sunday (3/4) 8am-5pm to begin reservations. Court A maintenance is complete and all 4 courts are open!
  • The Yard (outdoor fitness area) – All access open
  • Game Room – The regular Game Room schedule will be followed

The following facilities are modified/closed:

  • Weight Room – A small portion of the weight room will be open – the open area includes the free weights area in front of the mirrors and the small stretching room. All other areas of the weight room (cardio and weight machines) are closed.
  • Outdoor sports field – closed

The Baca Center will remain as an option for CMRC members 21 and older who wish to use the Baca weight room during this time due to the changed closure of the CMRC weight room. The working hours for Baca members from 4.4. are:

  • Monday – Thursday 7 a.m. – 9 p.m
  • Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m
  • Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m

All programs, lessons and league games taking place in unaffected areas will resume at the CMRC beginning 4/4. resumed. The program coordinators will contact the participants for these reminders.

When reopening, please note that not all repairs have been completed. There are temporary blockages on windows, roofs etc. We know it may not be pretty – but the building will be open and ready for members. Please bear with us as we continue to work with various contractors to complete repairs.
