TRINIDAD, Colo. (KRDO) – Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is hosting the first annual Outdoor Recreation For All Festival at Fisher’s Peak State Park in Trinidad this weekend.

According to CPW, the event will focus on outdoor accessibility and will be available to people with developmental or intellectual disabilities and their friends and families.

The main attraction of the event will be a pumpkin festival, but attendees will also be able to combine nature and art by learning about local wildlife, getting their faces painted, getting their hands and toes dirty, something learn about and ride in caterpillar wheelchairs and play many more backyard games.

The Recreation For All Festival is being held thanks to a partnership between CPW and ABC Disability.
