Dick’s Sporting Goods and Public Lands, the outdoor division of Dick’s Sporting Goods, will operate an in-store buyback program for select hard gear, including hard and soft gear, in select markets.
The program is supported by Out&Back, a Denver-based online platform, which announced this week that it is launching Sporting Goods and Public Lands, through a partnership with Dick’s, in two outdoor stores in Denver, CO and Pittsburgh, PA are expanded into the sale of Hard Gear. Out&Back accepts in-store hardware at select locations (Public Lands in Cranberry Twp, PA; Dick’s Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA (South Hills); and Lakewood, CO). Previously accepted items, including outerwear, tents, backpacks and other soft goods, include newly accepted categories of skis and snowboards from Burton, Atomic, Bent Metal, Blizzard Tecnica, GNU, Nordica and more, with more categories being added as the partnership progresses to be added .
As part of the partnership, Out&Back and Dick’s are donating one percent of the value of seller listings to 1% For The Planet. The program begins April 29 at Public Lands in Pittsburgh and will be available in Dick’s stores in Pittsburgh and Denver over the coming weeks.
