With a state-of-the-art recreation complex for indoor and outdoor activities, a local boat ramp, numerous fishing spots, and a racquetball and swimming club, there are plenty of recreational options for almost everyone.

“We’re a small community, we’re 20 miles from Wilson, Greenville, Goldsboro and Kinston, so we’re right in the middle of it, as we say,” said Bobby Taylor, owner of Greene Ridge Racket & Swim Club. “We have a lot of good people and we bring a lot of recovery, it’s one of the biggest economic developments we have. Baseball, soccer, all the recreation, tennis, etc., and now we have a golf course in Cutter Creek.”

There’s also Wooley Swamp Farms, a family-run campground just off Highway 13 that offers elevated glamping cabins and a two-acre fishing pond.

No matter where you are in Snow Hill, there are many ways to get active.
