Corey Smith, executive chairman of the Edmonton Oilers Charity Foundation (EOCF), said they are investing in community and youth sports programs at Fan Park to create a safe space for hockey and other outdoor activities that cater to Edmonton’s inner-city and underrepresented youth central pillar of the charity’s mandate.

“We wanted to provide access to sports, recreation and social opportunities for children from all backgrounds by creating a new and vibrant space for activation while complementing our existing investments in the downtown core, particularly Boyle Street.”

EOCF fan park investments are made possible by supporting Oilers fans through support for programs like 50/50.
