El Paso’s outside swimming pools and spray parks shut for finish of swim season

All good things have to come to an end, and El Paso’s open-air swimming pools and spray parks are no exception.

Swimmers and visitors to the spray park have until Tuesday, September 7th.

Spray park plan until the end of the season

The spray parks will remain open until Monday, September 6th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Spray parks are closed until the end of the season on Tuesday, September 7th.

There are 10 spray parks across the city, including one in Chamizal Community Park, the El Paso Zoo, and a splash pad in San Jacinto Plaza.

Swimming plan for the city of El Paso until the end of the season

The outdoor pools at Grandview Park, 3100 Jefferson Ave., and Pavo Real Park, 110 Presa Place, will close on Tuesday. 7th of September

Until then, both pools will be in operation during normal opening times: on weekdays from 6 pm to 9 pm and 12 pm to 4 pm Saturday-Sunday.

Both pools are open on Labor Day from 12pm to 4pm

Indoor pools remain open

The Parks and Recreation Department operates 14 water centers with indoor and outdoor facilities.

Water park plan until the end of the season

El Paso water parks are owned by Destination El Paso. operated

and the parks are open Labor Day weekend from 4pm to 8pm on Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday to Monday.

The water parks are Camp Cohen, Chapoteo, Oasis, and Lost Kingdom El Paso Water Parks.

After Labor Day weekend, until September 26th, the water parks will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
