The family-friendly and popular destinations of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) will all celebrate New Years Eve.

From fireworks to fantastic culinary experiences and adventurous camping nights, every destination offers specially curated events on December 31st to welcome the New Year.

As in previous years, a 10 minute long fabulous fireworks display will light up the night sky in the Al Majaz waterfront and count up to the new year. Known for its diverse culinary experiences, the leisure destination is a popular spot for families on New Year’s Eve and has attracted thousands of visitors in recent years.

This year, a 10-minute fireworks display will be celebrated at Khorfakkan Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the UAE, bringing the fireworks show to the east coast.

Visitors and families can enjoy delicious dinners from a variety of cuisines and watch the dazzling fireworks display from unique vantage points in the cafes and restaurants in both destinations. A special New Year’s Eve dining experience will be organized on December 31st from 7:00 p.m. to midnight in the tranquil atmosphere of Al Noor Island.

Guests can reserve tables by the calm waters of the lagoon for exclusive views of the Al Majaz fireworks without the hustle and bustle of the city. Live music and exquisite cuisine will also be part of the By the Bay experience.

The quaint Mleiha Archaeological Center offers visitors a night to remember by adding desert adventure and camping experience to the New Year celebrations.

The specially curated New Years package at Mleiha includes live performances such as the traditional tanoura dance, fire dance and a guitar session. Guests can spend the night in specially set up camps with campfires in the magical desert of Mleiha.

The festivities, full of entertainment, adventure and excitement, start at 6 p.m. on December and end at 8 a.m. the next morning.
