On Tuesday, August 17th, Black Panther will be the next installment in Union County’s free outdoor movie series.

Union County, NJ – The Union County Board of Commissioners invites all residents to enjoy the next free movie night in Union County’s Family Fun and Flix franchise. The series continues with The Black Panther on Tuesday evening, August 17th at 7:30 p.m. at Warinanco Park in Roselle.

“Free summer outdoor movies are a popular family tradition in Union County and we are excited to continue the series this year,” said Commissioner Chairman Alexander Mirabella.

The Black Panther opened to rave reviews in 2018. It tells the story of T’Challa, heir to the secluded but technologically advanced Kingdom of Wakanda, who must face a challenger from the past and lead his country into a new future.

Early arrival is recommended as there will be a family-friendly dance party from 7:30 p.m. before the movie

The film starts at dusk. Bring a blanket or beach chair for a spot on the lawn.

An ice cream truck will be on site for attendees who want to purchase a snack.

The Family Fun and Flix series are shown depending on the weather. In bad weather, the rainy date for each event is the following Wednesday evening.
