The owner of a local sports shop says the community is showing their support this Christmas season.

The owner of Sports Obsession says business has been great between the customers supporting the three regional NFL teams and the upcoming holidays this year.

He says Buffalo Bills’ merchandise sales have been a lot for the Cleveland Browns lately.

At Sports Obsession, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ equipment sales are not as high as in previous years.

Supply chain issues have impacted NFL jerseys sales and the owner says jerseys are in high demand. He says he bought too many products earlier this year and it has paid off in his favor.

“It was great. We are even up 30% this year and our sales are the biggest year we have ever had. I think people got locked up last year and had to shop online. They are actually in place and giving more money with all the incentive money off. I don’t feel like it’s busier after the total number of people, but bigger deals, “said Brian Bowers

Bowers says the business has been so stable that he will extend his lease at the Millcreek Mall location, potentially adding to the size of the business.
