HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Huntsville Parks and Recreation offers day camps for high school students during the week-long breaks from Huntsville City Schools.

The camps offer an entertaining and inclusive program for K-6 students from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The four camps are planned for:

  • Autumn break: 4th-8th October 2021
  • Thanksgiving holiday: 22.-24. November 2021
  • Winter break: December 20th, 2021 to January 4th, 2022
  • Spring Break, Spring holidays, Spring Break: 14.-18. March 2022

The fee for each camp is $ 50; for families with more than one child, the fee is $ 50 for the first child and $ 25 for each additional child. A registration package must be completed for each child.

“Given the success and positive feedback from our free afternoon programs, camps for students during the school holidays are a natural development,” said Bernita Reese, director of Huntsville Parks & Recreation. “We value the support we can offer families whose parents and guardians are working while the children are usually in school. We look forward to running the camps and providing students with a variety of programs in a safe and supportive environment. ”
