A popular Oakville itinerant shop is closing its doors after more than 20 years.

Hikers Haven, 166 South Service Rd., E., will officially close on July 31st

Customers raved about the staff and the many camping and outdoor brands available in store.

“Excellent, helpful service staff with a great selection of top outdoor brands,” Jennifer Yellin said on Hikers Haven’s website. “Also very patient with questions and advice for beginners.”

The sporting goods store sells everything from camping and outdoor gear to canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards, as well as men’s and women’s shoes and clothing.

The store is having an item sale on July 16th with a special sale on their summer and winter rental gear.

Hikers Haven store hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday and 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays.
