TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Despite Idaho’s ever-changing spring weather, consistently warmer temperatures are just around the corner.
And with that warmth comes more outdoor recreation in the Gem State.
Due to pandemic-related supply chain issues, things like kayaks and life jackets have been short for the past two summers.
Ready Starr from Sportsman’s Warehouse in Twin Falls says they haven’t dealt with too many issues this spring.
However, he doesn’t know what the summer might bring. Wherever someone gets their recreational supplies from, he recommends being proactive.
“I’d say get in there right now before the prices go up too much, I mean the prices are starting to go up too, just everywhere so now is the time, don’t wait until Memorial Day weekend,” Starr called.
The enthusiastic outdoorsman reminds people setting out to recover to know the conditions.
At the beginning of the season it is important to stay on well-maintained roads and be aware of the wind on the water.
