The park consists of nine miles of trails that are ideal for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Recommended hiking trails include the Riverfront Trail, Horseshoe Trail, and Desert Trail.   • Dam View Trail: This trail is approximately 0.8 miles long and is suitable for hiking and mountain biking. Note that the trail has no water feature and horseback riding is not allowed.
  • desert path: Those who want to get a little adventurous can hike the 2.8-mile Desert Trail, which consists of flat and hard surfaces. Hikers may encounter native wildlife as the trail crosses a desert. Please note that the trail has no water feature.
