Louisville Parks and Recreation will host youth and adult athletic leagues beginning in April. Registration is ongoing for co-ed kickball, men’s softball, co-ed softball, tee-ball, youth soccer and youth baseball.

“Joining a league is a great way to stay active and make new friends,” said acting director Margaret Brosko. “Regardless of your age or skill level, you can participate and have fun.”

Adult leagues are open to anyone over the age of 18 and youth leagues are open to children aged 3-10.

See below for more information on available leagues and registration. While online registration is preferred, those wishing to form a team can also call (502) 456-3261. Volunteer coaches are also needed. If you are interested, register here.

About Louisville Parks and RecreationLouisville Parks and Recreation, a state-approved parks and recreation agency, manages 120 parks and six park trails on more than 13,000 acres and operates recreation programs for residents of all ages and abilities, including the camps noted above. The department, led by Mayor Greg Fischer, works to ensure equity in parks and recreation. We strive to provide greater access to nature for those seeking nature-rich experiences, regardless of where they live. This has prompted Louisville Parks and Recreation to expand the West Louisville Outdoor Recreation Initiative, Louisville’s Engaging Children Outdoors (ECHO) program, and recently we became the third city in the country to initiate an equity review of all of its city-owned parks and amenities. bestparkserver.com
