Maricopa County Parks gives BOGO tenting passes | Information


Beginning October 1, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back its popular Buy One, Get One camping promotion, which offers parkgoers who pay the camping fee at a participating Desert Mountain County park a free night’s stay of equal or lesser value during the same stay.

“This Buy One, Get One camping promotion allows our residents to enjoy recreation at some of our finest parks at a price families can afford,” said District 3 Chairman Bill Gates Stay and enjoy quality time with your family.”

The promotion will run for almost six weeks and is valid for stays from Saturday, October 1st to Thursday, November 10th.

“As the prices of goods and services continue to rise, our agency believes it is more important than ever to continue the Buy One, Get One campaign this fall,” said RJ Cardin, Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Director.

“As evening temperatures begin to cool, everyone looks forward to getting back outside and enjoying time with family and friends. The Buy One, Get One promotion allows visitors to extend their stay with us for an extra night so they can continue to enjoy quality time with loved ones.”

Participating parks include:

• Cave Creek Regional Park. Located north of Phoenix, this park gives the illusion of being miles from civilization. The campsite has 55 individually developed campsites.

• McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Nestled in the lower basin of the Verde River, this park is a desert jewel in the Northeast Valley. This park has 76 developed campgrounds that are perfect for RV or tent camping.

• Usery Mountain Regional Park. Located on the east side of the valley at the western end of the Goldfield Mountains and bordering the Tonto National Forest, this park features 74 individually developed campgrounds. The pitches offer space for a mobile home or tent camping.

•White Tank Mountain Regional Park. At almost 30,000 acres, this is the largest regional park in Maricopa County. Most of the park is made up of the rugged and beautiful White Tank Mountains on the west side of the valley. The park offers 40 individually developed campgrounds for tent or RV camping.

Reservation extensions are eligible for the Buy One, Get One offer when booked either in person or online during the specified promotional dates.

This offer applies to designated campsites, not primitive camping, group campsite reservations or unit fees.

Rain checks will not be issued if space is not available.

This offer is not valid in Adobe Dam Regional Park, Estrella Mountain Regional Park, Hassayampa River Preserve, Lake Pleasant Regional Park, San Tan Mountain Regional Park and Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
