Clearman Labs, the makers of Matador Travel Equipment and Tiny Tents, announced their newest brand, MicroSend, a miniature magnetic route setting kit for climbers to bring the rock home. As part of the project, MicroSend is working with Access Fund to support its mission to protect rock climbing access and the environment in America.
“MicroSend is a fun little concept that we created to not only bring joy to the climbing community, but also to give back to the Access Fund and help get their message across,” said Chris Clearman, Founder and CEO from Clearman Labs. “We’re excited to support sustainable access and protection, and we’re also excited to introduce this adorable micro-cliff to the world.”
The MicroSend kit contains 15 small magnetic handles and five magnetic quickdraws with a 90 cm micro rope. It’s designed for climbers who want to visualize gym projects or practice route-setting skills, or for those who just want a quirky outdoor-themed way of holding items by a refrigerator or filing cabinet.
The box contains the Access Fund’s Climber’s Pact, a set of best practices for protecting outdoor landscapes and the future of climbing.
“I don’t think there has ever been a more fun way to support conservation,” Clearman continued. “Whether you’re using MicroSend to plan your next project or to hang reminders on your fridge, it’s a little way to give back and add micro-moments of joy throughout the day.”
MicroSend will be available in retail stores in late September 2021, with each purchase directly supporting the Access Fund. More information can be found here.
