Milner Recreation Middle underneath COVID restrictions

By order of McMinnville Mayor Ryle Chastain, the Milner Recreation Center is forced to postpone many of its group courses and activities on offer due to the surge in COVID-19.

All personal group exercises, programs and major events have been postponed until further notice. Homeschool PE and Taekwondo will also be postponed. Outdoor recreational leagues are not affected.

The 18 fall group exercise classes had generated a significant number of visitors for the Milner Recreation Center and had only been out for less than a month before the order was announced.

The wellness center and gym will remain open, but are now limited to 15 people at a time. Pick-up games in the gym are not allowed at this time and equipment cleaning is strictly required.

Guests are required to wear a mask when entering the property, but the masks can be removed at the gym or spa.

These restrictions and cancellations are an attempt to deal with COVID-19 cases. As of Monday, August 30th, 219 new cases were reported in Warren County in one day. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients is also increasing.
