Earlier this week, KX News had the pleasure of going live at General Sibley Park and Campground and met Chad Hatzenbuhler, the founder of a very popular camping group in the state. It’s called “Camping in North Dakota”.

And today he shared his sweetness with the whole campsite.

Today at around 6pm, Chad Hatzenbuhler and his family celebrated Memorial Day weekend by giving out free ice cream to all the lucky campers.

He told us they were able to hand out over 200 ice cream sandwiches.

What was cool about the whole thing was that the ice cream was delivered from a vintage camper van that was converted into an ice cream trailer.

Hatzenbuhler says they will be going to campsites throughout the summer and giving all campers an ice cold sweet treat.
