Olowookere invitations Arsenal participant, Flamingos stars for U-17 World Cup tenting

The Nigeria U-17 girls will prepare for the tournament in India with 35 players in camp, including an Arsenal player

The Flamingos are expected to regroup for preparations for the 2022 U-17 World Cup in India, with some notable members of the squad who qualified for the tournament still with them.

Tolulope Adubiaro, Comfort Erhabor, Daniella Alali and Alima Alasse were among the foreign players in the squad.

The Flamingos had defeated the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt and Ethiopia to qualify for this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, winning five of their six games and drawing one against Ethiopia in the final game of qualifying.

The 7th finals of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will be held in India from 11-30 October 2022.
