RAPID CITY, SD – Rapid City’s Parks and Recreation Department has published the 2022 Fall Program Guide online, providing information on a variety of activities, leagues and classes for the upcoming fall season.
Activities outlined in the guide include figure skating and hockey activities at Roosevelt Ice Arena, as well as youth recreation programs such as youth flag soccer and junior and adult tennis lessons. The guide also includes information on autumn outdoor activities, including disc golf, mountain biking, hiking trails, hiking and biking opportunities.
The Aquatics Division at the Roosevelt Swim Center will offer junior and adult swimming classes and programs, aqua aerobic classes, water polo and scuba programs in the fall. The fall program also includes Red Cross health and safety courses, lifeguard and babysitting training, and CPR programs.
The guide outlines course schedules for a number of programs in the Roosevelt Swim Center’s multipurpose room, including fitness, conditioning yoga, fencing, and tai chi classes.
“The Fall Guide is a one-stop online way to look at the dozens of programs, activities and classes available this fall and winter months,” said Lindsey Myers of the Parks and Recreation Department. “There are a number of great opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy and experience. We invite everyone to review the online guide for key facilities and program information.”
