Royal Gorge Bridge & Park to host out of doors job honest Might 7 – Canon Metropolis Each day Report

Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is hosting an outside job fair in the park’s warehouse from 12pm to 4pm on May 7th. The park now sets seasonal positions that start immediately.

“We’re looking for people who excel at customer service and enjoy working outdoors in Colorado,” said Peggy Gair, human resources manager.

The park rents for the Royal Gorge Via Ferrata, which requires outdoor adventurers with experience in climbing and working with people. Other jobs include admissions cashiers, photographers, drivers, security guards, grounds, janitor, catering and merchandise.

Gair reports from a recent survey of employees: “We learned that many of our employees enjoy working with them and making friends, and they also enjoy the tourism business.”

Gair said this is a great opportunity for first-time job owners to build their careers.

Follow the signs as applicants take the first right turn after entering the park gates. If the weather is bad, the job fair will be moved inside.
