Select From Over 100 Occasions at Nice Outside Weekend

C.incinnati is home to an abundance of protected green spaces, nature reserves, hiking trails and parks. Most residents live a 10-minute walk from our city’s parks, and Green Umbrella is here to celebrate with over 100 free events for the whole family. From September 25-26, the 18th annual Great Outdoor Weekend is all about ensuring everyone has access to the great outdoors and the best of outdoor recreation and nature education programs. The two-day event features activities hosted by dozen of organizations in locations in the greater Cincinnati area, including Southwest Ohio, North Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. Great Parks of Hamilton County alone has concerts, astronomy, paddling, wildlife experiences, and golf scheduled for the weekend. There is something for everyone – people of all ages and abilities can join in the fun, and many activities are accessible by public transport. Here are some of the highlights.
