Spend the Night time Tenting In This Southern Minnesota Winery!

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial, official start of summer in Minnesota. Many families pack up and head north to spend time with friends and family. But what if you could get away, get away from it all and not have to drive for hours? A vineyard in the Lonsdale area offers a unique camping experience that takes place just steps from the growing grapes. Prairie Woods Farm Vineyard Camp only has ONE campsite, but it’s award-winning. Here’s what you need to know about camping at this nearby location.

According to HipCamp.com, the vineyard was a Best of 2022 MN finalist and is described by the website as “one site only.” [which] means relaxed, quiet camping! Pitch a tent and recharge your batteries at Prairie Woods Farm! 35 minutes south of the Twin Cities, 7 miles west of I-35 at the Northfield exit. The site includes a picnic table, ring of fire and stunning views of the vineyards with incredible sunsets most evenings. Retreat to the screened-in “She Shed” or roam the vineyards or woods.”

The price for the camp is $35 per night via HipCamp.com, with space for only 4 people. So the Prairie Woods campground is a very intimate place. Sunsets are said to be spectacular as you gaze across the vines towards the rolling hills and enjoy the peaceful solitude and natural stillness that escort you from your tent into the rows of growing grapes.

As you enjoy your camping experience, you may not realize that you are actually in the heart of Minnesota’s wine country, as several other wineries are located near the vineyard. HipCamp.com states that “within a few square miles there are 4 different vineyards growing over 30 tons of grapes for local wineries”. Next Chapter in Montgomery, Vintage Escapes in Killkenny, Sparkling Mousses in Jordan or Cannon Valley in Cannon Falls.

With only one campground available, you’ll need to book early as the warmer weather means more people want to get out and enjoy Minnesota at its best.

The entire internet is shocked at Sign Hung in Wisconsin Home for Sale

A home that hit the market in Onalaska, Wisconsin in April is absolutely gorgeous, but there’s one little thing hanging on a wall that makes everyone look twice. Oh, and someone lost their sunglasses in a pretty random spot too. (See if you can locate these lost sunglasses in the photos.)

Located at W6547 Woodland Pass in Onalaska, Wisconsin, this home was built in 1989 and sits on 1.53 acres that are fairly wooded. Plenty of space indoors too with 3,600 square feet and 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The house went into pending status pretty quickly, but you can see Realtor Spencer Hegenbarth’s full listing at RE/MAX Results on Realtor.com here.
