Temperatures climbing mid-week, rain possibilities rising to finish the week


Dry weather in the area tonight with scattered clouds. Temperatures won’t be that cool. Overnight lows will be in the low 50s.

Expect a mix of sunshine and scattered clouds on Wednesday morning. A warm front will move through the region by Wednesday afternoon. This feature brings an increase in afternoon clouds and a small chance of a passing shower or a rain shower. The risk of encountering a few raindrops will continue into the evening, but it will by no means be a washout. Most of the area remains dry. The high afternoon temperatures will warm up a bit on Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 70’s. On Wednesday evening it will be even warmer. The lows will be in the mid to high 50’s. with scattered clouds. A few scattered showers are possible overnight.

Temps continued warming Thursday. Highs reach the low 80s. Expect partly sunny skies during the day. Some downpours and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening. Any storms that develop may be a little brisk. There is a chance of a few stronger storms, especially in the late afternoon and late evening. We’ll be monitoring this throughout the week and will update you as new data arrives in the storm system. Rain and thunderstorms are likely to continue Thursday evening with the passage of a cold front. The lows will be in the upper 50s.

Temperatures drop to the low 70s for Friday highs. It’s going to be more of a cloudy day with likely showers. A few persistent showers or splashes are possible early Saturday. The sky will be partly sunny until the afternoon with highs around 70°. The summer heat returns to wrap up Memorial Day weekend. Sunday will be partly sunny with a maximum temperature of around 80°. The highs warm up on Memorial Day with plenty of sunshine through the mid 80’s. Tuesday will be in the upper 80’s with partly sunny skies.
