Temps begin climbing once more Tuesday however we aren’t fairly carried out with wintry climate but

Brrr! Temperatures will plunge into the mid teens by dawn Tuesday. Although it will be cold we won’t see that much snow. During the evening the thunderstorms will subside and the sky will become clearer overnight. Plan for plenty of morning sun to accompany the cold Tuesday morning commute.

We are looking forward to a warmer afternoon after the cold start. Highs will climb towards the mid-40s on Tuesday afternoon. Plan for plenty of sunshine throughout the day. On Tuesday evening the weather will be interesting again. Clouds will increase into the night as a warm front approaches the region. This front will drive rain showers towards the valley. When those showers arrive, temperatures will be slightly below freezing. This means precipitation would begin as a wintry mix, including the possibility of a small freezing rain overnight. There is a possibility of some slippery areas, particularly bridges/overpasses, parking lots/sidewalks and unfinished surfaces. Lows are around 30°.

The chance for a wintry mix ends just after sunrise on Wednesday, when warmer air is rapidly moving into the area. Look out for slippery spots at and before sunrise. Any precipitation will change to rain by mid-morning, easing in the afternoon. The second half of the day on Wednesday will be pretty nice. Skies will be partly sunny and temperatures will be much warmer, with highs increasing into the mid 60’s.

The holes in the clouds will fill up again on Wednesday night and temperatures will be mild. The lows remain in the mid-50s through Thursday morning. The chance for showers will return overnight and will continue through Thursday morning.

Highs will still be in the mid-60s on Thursday, but don’t get too used to it. A cold front is sweeping through the area with scattered showers and the possibility of some thunderstorms. The highs will be much colder on Friday. At the end of the working week it will be cloudy with isolated rain and snow showers. Highs on Friday will only be around 40 degrees. The weekend won’t be as cold as last weekend. The highs are around 50° on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will have some sunshine. Sunday will come with a chance of a few showers.
