Tenting and caravan expo on once more

Camping and Caravan Fair from August 19th to 21st.

If you’re planning to head out for a short break, what better place to start than at Caravanning Queensland’s Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, which runs from Friday 19th August to Sunday 21st August at the Nambour Showgrounds takes place.

After a hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid, one of the Sunshine Coast’s largest caravan, camping and outdoor events returns with more than 80 exhibitors displaying an enormous range of caravans, caravans, motorhomes, RVs, gadgets and accessories for your next great road trip or weekend getaway.

Sunshine Coast Council Division 10 Councilor David Law said caravanning is a great way to explore the region and venture further afield.

“That’s why I encourage everyone to come to the Nambour Showgrounds from August 19th to 21st to get ideas and inspiration for your next vacation – be it in our beautiful region, in another part of Queensland or on the highway” , he said.

Jason Plant, chief executive officer of the Caravan Trade and Industries Association of Queensland, said the Sunshine Coast has become one of Australia’s most popular destinations for motorhome and camping visitors in recent years.

“In addition, caravan sales in the Sunshine Coast region have doubled over the past 12 months,” Mr Plant said.

Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo is a family-friendly event that includes free activities like sheepdog trials, face painting and campfire cooking demonstrations with bush poetry and ballads by Ranger Nick.

The popular Weight and Towing Masterclasses will return, providing travelers with essential information and tips from industry experts to ensure everyone embarks on their next adventure safely and with confidence.
