A new musical event is coming to the Moorabool region this ANZAC weekend.
Turramurra Folk Music Camp is a three day camp-away event consisting of a packed series of music workshops and activities for all to enjoy.
The event is being held in Glenmore at Lady Northcote Recreation Camp for the first time, having previously held in the Otways region for the past 38 years.
From April 22nd to 25th, the camp offers musicians and music lovers the opportunity to take courses with professional music teachers and performers.
Workshops and activities include music ensembles, an ‘ukestra’ and courses in Indian singing, fiddle, Balkan winds, guitar, fife, art and improvisational theatre. The courses are aimed at both beginners and advanced learners.
Artists in attendance include Josh Bennett, Parvyn Singh, Mark Jackson, Jane Jelbart, The Maes and many more.
