Vacation spot BC China Capitalizes on Tenting Development 


Destination BC China and (a Chinese online travel agency) held a consumer-focused camping event on August 3 in Hangzhou, east China. More than 30 targeted consumers along with 3 major media companies attended this outdoor event which capitalized on the growing trend in China towards camping and nature experiences.

Nestled in a mountainous campsite, guests enjoyed the party, which consisted of an introduction to the destination, an exchange with influencers, a gaming session and a raffle. An invited influencer streamed the entire event live.

The activity was also boosted with pre- and post-event promotions by 10 influencers, PR releases and recap videos via WeChat and Weibo channels. On August 5, the total number of online views reached 12.36 million.

Earlier this year, DBC also launched the BC flagship store on, showcasing inspirational destination content for future travel.
