Youths rescued after climbing on roof and turning into caught


Three teenagers were rescued after climbing onto a roof and becoming trapped.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident happened last night at Shute Road, Catterick Garrison.

A spokesman said Colburn crews helped police “rescue” the youths, who climbed onto a one-story commercial property and became stuck on the roof.

“Crews used a triple extension ladder and helped them down,” he added.
